Many are of the opinion that Tom Ford is one of the men who helped define luxury fashion as it is known today. Much of his work throughout the decade showcases a simple effortless approach to luxury with hints of adventure throughout. His SS20 menswear collection played along this same narrative except, with a greater dosage of fun. This season featured lots of leather, and a bit more daring details while still maintaining a line of elegance. A peacoat with distressed buttons and a motorcycle leather on collar details and tailored coats were some of the offering. Leather wasn’t only offered in the traditional black and brown but saw a palette of mint, faded yellow and ivory. Perforated leather jackets were paired with matching slim-fit cargo pants , and zebra and leopard prints shone in neon colours . In harmony with the collection, boxer shorts were also added to his underwear collection in sync with the flashy camouflage, leopard and zebra prints.
